Dave Rosenthal joined MISO in 2007 where he has held various IT related roles including Director of Infrastructure as well as his current role of Director of Incident Response & Systems Recovery. In his current role he is responsible for their cyber security industry outreach, Incident Response practice as well as Crisis Management, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery disciplines. Prior to joining MISO Mr. Rosenthal worked for Delphi Automotive (formerly General Motors) for 14 years where he ran both their global desktop build operations center as well as Delphi’s North America UNIX operations team. Rosenthal serves on various industry working groups: Currently Dave chairs the CIP-008 NERC Standard Drafting Team for North America, serves on the Executive Committee for Cyber Mutual Assistance (part of Edison Electric Institute), is an active member of the DOE Critical Infrastructure Protection Energy Sector group, is member of the Bulk Electric System Business Continuity working group, is a member of the Midwest Contingency Planners organization. Dave is a graduate of Purdue University, and holds certifications in the following areas: PMP, COBIT, ITIL, and CMII.
