William Mackey

Bill Mackey is an Instructor of Criminology at Indiana State University. His research interests include: cybercriminology, social engineering, crime prevention technology, white-collar crime, and criminological theory. Bill’s current research is focused on behavioral correlates of data breaches and effective employee security training and incentivization. He has published in the areas of data breaches, crime prevention, policing technologies, white-collar, and hackers. His current teaching assignments include Cybercriminology, Risk Assessment, White-Collar Crime, and Crime Prevention. Bill currently serves as a member of the Governor’s Indiana Executive Council on Cybersecurity (IECC), Infragard, National White-Collar Crime Research Consortium, and the American Society of Criminology.
